Fundamentals of Foundation Paper Piecing Workshop - Saturday, May 6, 2023

In this live workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of foundation paper piecing through a variety of exercises. This beginner-friendly workshop will include information on how to read and prepare templates, how to optimize yardage and maximize scraps, how to sew and assemble templates with success, and various other tips and tricks.

Students will apply these techniques to the class project: a wall quilt (24” square) of Ships & Violins' pattern, Lyra's Hymn. Students should not expect to finish the project during the workshop.

Duration: 4 hours

Time: 10:00 a.m. EST to 2:00 p.m. EST (25-minute lunch break included)

Workshop Includes: The Lyra's Hymn PDF pattern and various information sheets. 

Supply List: A list of supplies will be provided in your confirmation email once the purchase is complete. The PDF pattern will be provided two weeks before the workshop. 

Cancellations and Refunds: The workshop requires a minimum number of students in order to proceed. If the workshop does not proceed, registered students will be notified two weeks prior to the workshop and refunded the workshop fee. There are no refunds on workshops otherwise. If students are unable to attend the workshop they may opt to receive a recording of the workshop or reschedule to another date.
